FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

Project | Trends Forecasting

The final major project is an extensive and comprehensive module in order to consolidate all the knowledge learnt over the duration of the entire course. This project involves the creation of a new idea or concept prompted by the reccomendations found through the research disseration. 

My dissertation in gender equality noted a gap in the market for reading publications for men in Britain when I looked into the role reversal lifestyle. I designed and created a full magazine, with both a phyiscal and digital copy assisted by an online website and social media accounts. A full and professional business plan also accompanied the magazine detailing consumer profiles, market positioning, competition threat and financial forecasts. A 12 month marketing strategy will also be designed with mock ups of certain tactics. A mini brand style guide was used to portray the look and feel behind the concept as a visual aid.

Fathers Footsteps;

 

A plush, smart magazine designed specifically for British fathers designed to unite and enthuse fathers through shared experiences which redefines their irreplaceable role in the family unit. Full of interesting stories, articles, reviews and visual storyboards that relate to real life issues faced by fathers. 

Working in collaboration with bloggers, freelance journalists and other writers and photographers to create the issue. 

Produced monthly and estimated to be sold on a national scale, with future plans to expand product range and worldwide.
